The Barking Dogs & The Lonely Street

SUCH EMOTIONS ARE SO RARE IN TODAYS TIMES
WE ONLY MISS - CALLS ... AND MOST EXPENSIVE PHONES

We are all humans and it is but obvious to err. We are not machines running on petrol and button clicks, we are humans, thinking humans, made of pure emotions and sympathetic hearts, we are very creative people. I was reading the newspaper and there were all this “news” about a man hanging himself, and his wife eating pesticide, and his daughter being treated at a Nursing Home – friends ! Why has man become so – Desperate. Do we ever try and think, if by taking such drastic steps – we not only harm our own bodies but, also, leave a dark spot on the face of – the existing humanity. Why are we so afraid of the future. How do we know – it is us – who are at fault, and not – the one’s always pointing fingers at us. Why do we feel, if we change immediately, things will change. How many times will we change ? And if we will change so many times, maybe we will change forever.
You see – changes too often and too many, leave a very tumulted personality, and we start to feel, this life is a burden. We stop believing ourselves. We start to depend on others for answers, we start to believe that – those helping us are smarter beings with superior evolution and better rescuing skills, but is it the truth ? Do you think a “a problem of mathematics you were not able to solve initially” will get resolved with time, no friends – it is not o simple. We remain what we are – from the time we are born, and, as I wrote a few years back –

Tum badaltey waqt ke jhokon mein behtey hi rahogey,
Waqt to badh jayega par tum – machaltey hi rahogey,
Kyun nahi tum apney kuch adarsh kuch ayam kartey,
Yeh jaruri to nahi ki tum galat hi ho – yeh – kyun tum mantey ho ??
Ab sabhi udgam suhaney apney – tum- rach lo yehi …

Janm se jaisa hai jo – who ant tak rehta wahi ………….

As I writer we believe the world is very simple, people love one another, they love their families, they always want to do good to others, but we often rise to the truth – people are corrupt, people are selfish, people are self-centered. A woman you may love for  5 long years of your life, may suddenly leave you and marry a person – she thinks – can give her a – bigger house, and economically stable life. We make all possible decisions of our lives by ourselves, but when it comes to taking decisions – that concern our own “selves” – we believe on others. The result – we start planting a tree – that will bear – sour mangoes, but internally we feel – we have seeded apples. I am not saying only women are bad, but anyone who after involving himself/herself with a someone – for a long time – suddenly feels – life is about better options, is a fool. No man is a demon, no woman a witch, we live this life, on our own terms – and this is the bitter truth.
In any case – my main motive – of being here is to let you know – how to break barriers and not create them. Friends – today – I’m going to write about a someone – whom I felt is not of this Earth, but a someone – only fit – to stand in the cadre of Gods themselves, a someone I met recently – a someone – who has this ability to wear a smile – even when she was in utter pain. May God help her live a life of utter peace and utter bliss, this is my last wish (if tomorrow – I am being hanged somewhere).
I met this person – almost 2 years back, and immediately fell in love with the person. Not in the sense – that I wanted to have children with her, but the way she approached things. Her style, her professionalism, her attitude, and above everything – her Straightforward approach to the most complex things of life. She left me struck – with lightening, and till today – I’m shining in her light. Why does this happen, why do we get inspired ? Why does this happen – even when we know – we might never be actually with a person, we are now following, we still follow – the dream. You see life in its most basic forms is a very ordinary exercise, start with toothbrush and end with – ear-plugs, we live a life – like a big giant wheel, where we are sitting in one seat, and the wheel, is going unstoppably round and round, we feel giddish. We want to jump out of this wheel, but at the same time – realize – we have a role to play inside the wheel. Friends – remember that feeling – when – almost scared to death – inside that Giant Wheel, you saw an unknown someone waving to you from the crowds below, the someone whose smile – relieved you of al that tension, you were facing on that Giant Wheel. Such friends, such relations are very important in life, if we will not search outside – the Giant Wheel  - the Giant Wheel will obviously eat us, or if not eat us, leave us – almost numb.
Friends – Life is not all about – listening – it is about saying. Friends- life is not all about bearing – it is about fighting, Friends – life is not all about dreaming – it is about – being with your dream – every minute of your life, every second of your breath. Dreams are not some kind of an FD which our family and realtives will encash on our passing to the next life. Dreams are to be shared, dreams are to be explored, dreams are to be resolved. Someone rightly said – when you see a storm coming – “Don’t request the storm to stop, be courageous to face it now.” The storm will come and go, but your existence, will depend on how you approach the situation. You may run and shout and shriek, and still die. You may stand still, and simply pray – and you may live. Life is not a bundle of joys – it is “small bites” of “immense pleasures”. We should not be happy in life, we should try and be – “very happy”.
It is said – kisi bhi cheez ki ati theek nahi – par – sapno ki ati honi chahiye – mehnat ki ati honi chahiye, “apne oopar vishwas ki ati hon chahiye”, accha karney se accha hota hai, par sirf doosron ke saath nahi, khud ke saath bhi.
Sab se bada sach duniya ka yeh hi hai – Ki wahi insaan doosron ko khush rakhega – jo khud bhi khush hoga. Karela kha ke hasney walon ko duniya pagal samajhti hai.

Just one last stanza of hope, dedicated to a friend – who changed my life

In a day, in a way, when you cross – my timeline,
I feel happy, I feel joyous, I feel very sublime,
Don’t know why – we have met, I don’t know, when shall we die,
All I know – is that “YOU” – have – transformed my – every “WHY”
In this world – I see hope, happiness also true,
Want to live every day – want to be by your side,
Like a stream flowing by, crackling sounds all around,
I’m a man – you’re my dream – let us now entwine…

Take care folks …. See you soon … keep coming back

And also remember – don’t miss – that cup of tea – at office – sponsored by “no one” but that miser friend of yours. When you made him a friend – was it only for his “Bank Balance” – then why are you worried now ……….

Keep Living
