Dear Friends,
Firstly I am sorry - for being away for such a long time, or I must say - the most - research oriented time of my life - The Initial Marriage Days.
The first time in my life - I am asked to - what breakfast I would like to have, or somebody is there to serve - me - Snacks - at 1:00 pm at night. or Someone before I even speak - has a glass of Rasna ready for me - To drink. I have never lived in such luxury, or in other words - with such emotions - That literally sweep me - every second hour of - my life these days.
In India - as I had heard previously - "Relatives are in plenty and it becomes a second job to - maintain, manage and please - these Objects" - but - Believe me - this is a myth. Relatives in India means - Real People in Reel Life ... limited to reel life. (remember all the photo albums - that you have not seen the last 3 years of your life).
The only true relation - I feel - of a person - can be inbetween - his/her parents - that is Mother and Father (normal case) , mother and not father (usual case) , mother and mother's mother (general case) ....... Another Big & Dirty Myth - You can never trust - your own beings - in matters of Big Faith - no matter which scripture you pick up, The Bible, The Geeta, The Ramayana or The Maha-Bharata - all lead you to the same conclusion - The People from The Inner Circle - become the cause of your fall or demise.
One of the big reasons for this eventuality is - not that they - Were in pretense or in false faces as you must have felt, it was your over-indulgence with them, that lead to your debacle. Realizing one's goals in life a little early in life - is the biggest gift - Your parents can give you, God can help you realize yourself, or maybe - apart from these two - Luck can bring in front of you. But, luck is not everyone's friend.
Lets take all the three cases in separation -
(1). PARENTS HELPING YOU IDENTIFY YOUR GOALS
- This is the most difficult of choices - you have made, because chances are - you are throwing yourself in the hands of a - Rescue Diver - who himself might not have learnt the art of survival. Secondly - it is very evident in most Indian Parents - (with more focus on the urban society) - late marriages lead to late - Children and eventually - late parentage. More than a - Natural Happiness - it often becomes a social responsibility. No life is not - because of the society, the society is because of - all of us - and because of our lives.
Parents in India context are - friends, flat-mates, objects - you owe - your strata of social work in middle life - they are not supporters, promoters or regulators of your destiny.
(2). GOD CAN HELP YOU REALIZE - BY HIS GRACE
- God is an entity - we all believe in - defining God is not possible - the only one line I can say that can do this task is - God is always Good, He/She never does anything that will give you pain, or that shall cripple you into setbacks. God helps and loves you. In our case - God can be friends, our teachers, our mentors - Gurus, or people who un-conditionally adore you - people who are attracted to you - in an emotional manner. We often get crippled by over-attention - but the truth is that those - who attend to you - in a sombre, clear and un-biased way - for a long time - are your real friends. And, as is said that those - who back-stab, are answerable to their own consciousness. So - the apply - live and let live, instead of Give - and get kick - therapy. Its good to be a bit selfish at times ....
Sorry Guys - I have to attend the BIHAR FESTIVAL INAUGURATION at NCZCC - so I have to log out ..... but I will continue this same topic ...
